A shy cat and an outgoing cat—that’s what makes Kuro and Fox such a great pair! Kuro is definitely the shyer of the two and took some time adjusting to life at the Adoption Center—and we expect he’ll take a while adjusting to life in a new home too. Patience is key with this guy! Kuro takes many of his cues from his friend Fox, so when he sees his outgoing buddy having fun, Kuro starts to come out of his shell bit by bit. Kuro is a low-key dude who appreciates a slow approach even once he’s comfortable—and as he settles in, he slowly lets his personality start to come out! Kuro seems to enjoy toys, particularly wand toys and laser lights, but doesn’t mind taking a backseat to Fox’s rowdy antics and letting his friend enjoy most of the crazy acrobatics. Most of the time, Kuro is happy to sit back and watch! According to his previous family, that trait goes beyond just playtime, too. They note that Kuro isn’t really the lovey-dovey type but does enjoy being in the same room as and keeping an eye on his people.

Fox and Kuro love each other more than anything, so they must go home together. Because Kuro is a sensitive boy, they’re looking for an adopter who understands that Kuro will need time and confinement to adjust to a new home, and that he may always be a little shy—especially around guests. Small kids would probably be too rowdy for this pair, so they would prefer a home with teens and up. If you’d like to make Kuro and Fox yours, please fill out our Cat Adoption Survey.
