Dragonfruit

Dragonfruit met her best friend Elf at the ASPCA, and they were instantly inseparable. Now, these two kitties looking for a new home where they can spend lots of time together! When Dragonfruit first arrived, our staff noticed that she was very undersocialized, scared of her surroundings and barely let anyone touch her. With a few months of work from our Behavior team and a foster caregiver, we can now see Dragonfruit for the lovely lady she is! If there’s one thing Dragonfruit loves, it’s playtime. This gal can turn anything into a toy, but wand toys are by far and large her favorite—she even jumps five feet into the air to try and grab them! Dragonfruit is talkative, athletic, energetic, and enjoys being brushed. She also enjoys asking for and getting pets and stealing her foster mom’s sponge out of the sink, too!

Dragonfruit can’t imagine life without Elf, so they must go home together. They would do best with an experienced adopter who understands that they will take time—likely several weeks or more—to settle into their new home and that they might always be somewhat shy.
