A Very Deserved Home for Delicata

Delicata the cat with girl

Delicata, a three-year-old tortoise shell cat who’d spent time at the ASPCA, was no ordinary feline resident. When Katherine Good, Foster and Placement Manager for the ASPCA Community Engagement team, heard that Deli had finally found a home, it was a very big deal.

“I come bearing incredible news!” Katherine emailed her team on September 24. “Our feline friend Delicata is ADOPTED!”

A Second Chance for Soba

Second chances happen every day at the ASPCA—cruelty victims become beloved family pets, homeless animals settle into new digs, and so many are finally given the love they deserve. Rescue dogs are so much more than their pasts or their breed, and we are so fortunate to be able to make so many happy endings possible for deserving animals.

Smiling Our Way into National Pit Bull Awareness Day

A big beautiful smile and an incredible personality. Sounds like your dream partner, right? Well, adopting a pit bull could make your dreams come true!

This Saturday, October 24, is National Pit Bull Awareness Day and we are celebrating with big smiles as we remind ourselves what great pets pit bulls make! Just like other dogs, pit bulls are highly intelligent, can be easy to train and can be great with children – it all depends on who you meet at a shelter or rescue. Plus, a big sloppy pittie kiss or ear-to-ear smile can turn around even the gloomiest days.
