We’re proud to announce that the ASPCA’s Community Medicine team in Los Angeles achieved an exciting milestone in our work on behalf of pets and people. As of June 19, 2018, we completed 50,000 low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for animals in the L.A. area. We first opened our South Los Angeles Spay/Neuter Clinic in April 2014, and this is an important milestone that benefits pets and their human families in the community.
