Did someone say fetch? Rio is an active pup who loves to run and play! Adopt Rio today.

Big fan of: Play time! Rio would love to show you her great fetching skills. Throw her a tennis ball, and watch this girl fly! This sweetheart is very affectionate with people she knows well. With time, she will quickly warm up to friendly faces.

Not a fan of: Rio is not a dog-park dog. Our Behavior team can give you some tips to help Rio pass other dogs nicely.

Special features: This smart pup already knows “sit!” Rio is eager to learn more tricks. A routine schedule will help her learn to only use the bathroom outside. Rio would benefit from plenty of daily exercise in her new home.

Other features: Rio will need to continue taking a daily, joint lubricating vitamin to help with her hip dysplasia.

Dream home: An active, experienced adopter would be a great match for this energetic pup. She would like to join a home with teens-and-up. Rio may do well with younger children, but she should meet them first at our Adoption Center.
