Looking for an adventure buddy? If so, Lady is your lady! Although she does enjoy some R&R every now and again, this smiley girl doesn’t let her age slow her down one bit. If you’ve got a little pep in your step, some good sneakers in your closet and a comfy couch where she can relax after a busy day, Lady may just be your match.

Big fan of: Working off her energy! Lady is one of those dogs who likes to be anywhere and everywhere. Whether it’s a crazy game, a jog outside or getting her zoomies out, Lady always prefers to be on the move—especially if it involves new adventures! With an affinity for keeping active Lady loves to explore outside, especially if it means getting to spend some quality time with her favorite people. And by favorite people, we mean anyone! Lady has never met a person she doesn’t like and loves hanging out with every person who’s willing to give her a little attention. Being an older gal, Lady has also learned to love quiet time, too. After the rowdiness and activity are all said and done, Lady enjoys settling down and curling up next to her favorite humans. And to top it all off, she’s smart too! Lady is reported to be housetrained and would love to learn more tricks.

Working on: Her leash skills! Walks are the most exciting thing for this gal, and she often forgets her manners while out on one. Lady tends to pull and bark at other dogs, and she would benefit greatly from working with a rewards-based trainer to help her brush up on some polite walking skills. When it comes to actually interacting with other pups, Lady isn’t a fan. She should get her exercise somewhere other than the dog park and should only be introduced to other dogs while under the supervision of a certified trainer.

Dream home: Lady is looking for an active adopter who can keep her busy with fun and exercise! This pup prefers to have all the attention to herself and should be the only animal in the home.
