Bullwinkle

Meet Bullwinkle! He is an adorable, happy-go-lucky pup with the sweetest personality and goofiest mannerisms! This young guy came to us from a suspected hoarding case, and he is now ready to find a loving home of his own.

Bullwinkle is a social dog, and he does especially well with other playful dogs. During playtime, he loves to sprint around the yard and wrestle with a buddy. When he’s ready to relax, he becomes a true cuddle bug! He absolutely adores snuggling on the couch with his friends, both human and animal alike.

Bullwinkle is currently living his best life in a foster home! He has gotten along well with the resident cats and dog in the home. He is a great passenger on car rides, and he is working on his housetraining. He may do well with crate training in the future, as he feels very comfortable in his. Bullwinkle is also super smart and a quick study, from learning new commands to solving tricky puzzle toys!

In Bullwinkle’s new home, he hopes that his family will help build his confidence out in the world. He has already made a lot of progress and is a much more confident boy today! He now goes for long, easygoing walks alongside his foster’s resident dog, who has helped him learn the ropes. Bullwinkle has also become more comfortable with neighborhood noises, such as construction and sirens.

Adopters should know that Bullwinkle has a sensitive stomach and was diagnosed with an abnormal gut microbiome. He has responded well to his current medication and diet, which help to reduce flareups of diarrhea. He will need to continue a strict diet in his future home, and symptoms may still occur during times of increased stress. While he has shown improvement with us, his condition may require ongoing medical care and follow-ups with a veterinarian.
