At the Cruelty Recovery Center in Columbus, Ohio, our foster caregivers help show animals in need a preview of what life in a loving home looks like. In celebration of National Animal Foster Appreciation Week, we’re highlighting one of our adoptable dogs who has benefitted tremendously from his time in a foster home – meet Arnold!

Adorable Arnold is a truly one-of-a-kind pup! He is handsome and affectionate, and nothing slows him down. This sweet boy is happy-go-lucky and playful, and he is ready to share his love with his new family.

Arnold enjoys going on sleepovers with a foster caregiver, where he quickly makes himself right at home! He enjoys zooming around the yard, and then relaxing on the couch for a well-deserved rest. He really loves getting cozy when it’s naptime! Arnold has even met multiple cats in a foster home, who he has gotten along swimmingly with. Thanks to his time in foster care, we have seen just how easygoing and mellow Arnold really is! He will be a wonderful canine companion in his future home.

Arnold’s most unique feature is his front leg, which is oddly shaped due to either a past injury or a congenital deformity. Regardless, he gets around quite well and can zoomie with the best of them! Our medical team has confirmed that he is comfortable with his leg as is.

Arnold is all set to graduate from foster care and leap into his own home! He is sure to continue thriving and enjoying the simple pleasures of life with his new best friends. Arnold has also done well with other dogs in our playgroups, so if there are any potential canine siblings, we recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure they are a good fit.
