Last month, we celebrated Adopt a Shelter Cat Month with our friends at ARM & HAMMER™ Cat Litter – but this year, we’re extending the festivities through July! There are more feline buddies available for adoption in Los Angeles and New York City, so there’s no better time to consider bringing home  a new BFF! These cute AI-generated images of our cats, provided by ARM & HAMMER, help spotlight their most adorable features!

If you do adopt any of these fantastic felines, you’ll also be taking part in what we call The Rescue Effect! This incredible movement ripples across shelters after an animal is adopted, which then opens up more space for animals to get the care they need and find the loving homes they deserve.

These cats are waiting for you in Los Angeles:

You can also change the lives of animals in need by becoming a foster caregiver! Fosters play a vital role in The Rescue Effect, since they also help to create more space at shelters and play a critical role in an animal’s journey to finding a loving home. Fosters  are especially important for cats like these, so that they can learn what home life is like and show off their true personalities! You can foster for the ASPCA in Columbus, OhioNew York CityLos Angeles and Weaverville, North Carolina (dog fosters only).

Visit aspca.org/TheRescueEffect to learn more about how you can make a lifesaving impact all year round!
