This energetic pup will have you singing, “It’s Slinky, it’s Slinky! He’s fun and a wonderful boy!” This guy is sure to add some real fun to your life!

Slinky lives near Columbus, Ohio, and is a smiley, social butterfly! There won’t be a sad face in the room when this adorable boy is around—he loves everything in life and wants to share that love with you. He has been a superstar attendee at busy community events, where he’s been looking for his paw-fect adopter. At these events, his social skills truly shine through as he meets his adoring fans!

One thing Slinky loves—truly loves—is water! Now that it’s Shark Week, we think he might actually be part shark—the friendly kind of shark! He would make for an awesome dock-diving dog or kayaking companion. One of his favorite activities is splashing around in our baby pools. This boy would really be up for any adventure with his person. He is outgoing, confident and ready to take on the world by your side, wherever that may lead you!

During his time here at the ASPCA Cruelty Recovery Center, Slinky has made so many friends, both human and canine alike! He has even become like a big brother to puppies of all ages and sizes by helping during our puppy social hours. We think he’s been such a great helper because he’s really just a big puppy at heart. It’s quite a sight to watch him playing and cuddling with tiny, fluffy pups!

Slinky can be energetic when he gets excited about things, but he can also settle and focus well when he’s working on his training. Slinky is attentive to his people, and through his training, knows “sit,” offers eye contact and has wonderful leash skills.
