Opal is basically a big teddy bear—when she's being pet, she melts onto the floor to ask for belly rubs. The more body contact, the better; this girl loves being close to people. Opal walks well on leash, making her a lovely walking companion. Sometimes novel places can be scary for her, but she warms up quickly. So far, Opal appears to be more interested in people than in other dogs. She may be able to live with another mellow dog with a slow introduction. A meet-and-greet is recommended for any potential dog roommates.
