York

You won’t be able to help but fall in love with York! York is the type of guy who takes a little time warming up to new places and people—but under those initial nerves are the traits of a truly wonderful kitty. In his foster home, York has shown that his personality spans the gamut from an active, playful cat to one who just wants to curl up for a nap. York, “loves to explore,” and is, “a very curious cat,” his foster notes and, “will go in circles trying to get a wand toy,” when it’s playtime. But, once it’s time to settle down and put the toys away, York knows how to relax! He likes to, “nap during the day and enjoys sitting on the couch and sleeping in dark corners.” Generally, his foster says that he is, “a well behaved, calm cat!” And, on top of it all, York loves spending time with his people! York likes to stay close to his foster caregiver while she works and is more than happy to jump up on the couch to say hi. At the end of the day, he’s the type of dude who prefers to ask you for attention instead of vice versa and would love a person who appreciates that.
