Silver is proof that senior kitties can be just as loving, loyal and fun as their younger counterparts! A spritely, confident older gentleman, Silver loves nothing more than reveling in attention from his people—and when we say, “his people,” we mean anyone and everyone. Silver has never met a stranger and excitedly asks for love from every person who comes into his room. To Silver, there’s no such thing as too many pets and scratches! And, Silver’s previous family thought just as highly of him as we do! According to them, Silver is a “confident, independent and mellow cat,” who, in a comfortable home, loves curling up in cozy spots for a nice cat nap and playing with toys. Silver is a wonderful cat and would make a great fit for most families! He’s even previously lived well with another cat. Silver’s adopter should know that he has been diagnosed with a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, commonly referred to as HCM. He’s currently doing great and no medication is needed at this time, but Silver’s new family should make sure to regularly bring him in for vet checkups in order to keep him happy and healthy.
