According to his previous family, Paxton is “the snuggliest cat” they’ve ever had—and ASPCA staff think just as highly! Described as “a sweet cat” by the Adoption Center direct care team, Paxton is a charming older gentleman who finds it pretty easy to make just about anyone fall in love with him. Paxton is the type of kitty who’s happy to relax and curl up next to you on the couch, especially if it means getting lots of scratches! To Paxton, there’s no such thing as too much petting or too much love. Paxton may even thank you for the attention by making biscuits, which is incredibly endearing—if he isn’t busy being picked up and snuggled, of course!
We think that Paxton would do best in a quiet, low-traffic home without dogs and with children ages 8 and up. In his previous home, Paxton had some medical and anxiety-related litter box accidents, and sometimes had an inkling to try to get outdoors—so, our Behavior team is happy to speak with interested adopters about how to keep Paxton safe, happy and healthy!
