Tahiti

“A lovely cat who likes to be where you are”—that’s how Tahiti’s foster mom describes her! We first met Tahiti when she came to us from a home with lots of other cats, where she likely didn’t get very much attention from people. Initially, Tahiti was pretty spooked by humans—but she’s made so much progress! When given appropriate time and space to settle into her foster home, Tahiti blossomed into the type of kitty who loves her people so much! She can often be found following her foster mom from room to room.

Tahiti is also a big fan of playtime! From bell balls to mouse wands to simply chasing tossed treats, Tahiti thoroughly enjoys partaking in lots of different types of games. When it comes to receiving love and affection, Tahiti still isn’t too sure about being pet. She likes to make the first move, so she’ll need patience when it comes to helping her learn that scratches are actually a good thing. But don’t worry, she does have one other thing she really enjoys—food! Tahiti is such a foodie that she can be a little demanding with her voice around mealtime—which is actually pretty cute!

Tahiti is looking for an adopter who understands that adjusting to a new home may be scary for her, and that it will take time and patience for her to settle in.
