Zelda is looking for her Link! This sweet girl was in rough shape when she came to the ASPCA in February from a home with lots of other kitties. She’s spent the last few months getting plenty of love from our behavior and medical teams, and she’s now ready to find a new home! Zelda has been through a lot and is understandably nervous in new places and with new people. With a slow approach and time to settle in, Zelda blossoms! According to her foster caregiver, Zelda prefers a “don’t come to me—I’ll come to you” approach and is quite a happy lady once she’s comfortable! Zelda absolutely loves playtime and would adore a home where playtime is all the time—but she counts on her people for more than just games. Once she settles in, Zelda can usually be found greeting her people at the door, reveling in pets and purring!
Zelda is looking for an adopter who understands that she will need time and confinement to settle into any new home. Small kids can be too much for Zelda, so a home with children ages 8 and up would be best for this lady. She’s previously lived with other cats but we’re not sure how she did with them. Our Matchmakers would be happy to speak with interested adopters about what Zelda may look like as a companion for their current kitty! If you’re interested in adopting her, please fill out our Cat Adoption Survey.
