Sprout

It’s undeniable that Sprout is an absolutely beautiful lady, and her sophisticated air matches her sophisticated looks! Sprout knows that she’s a queen, and just like human royalty she can sometimes be a bit unsure of people’s intentions when first meeting them. With time and a slow approach, Sprout starts to open up—and we’ve definitely seen that at the Adoption Center! After settling into her castle, Sprout let us know that she enjoys pets on the back and rump—butt scratches, if you will—and when she’s particularly loving them she often kneads, purrs and rolls around! And, you have to hear her meow. She has an adorable soft, high-pitched little mew!

Sprout prefers a calm living space over a rowdy one and would like a quiet home with a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to settle in. We think that small children may be too much for Sprout, so teens and up would be best. In the shelter Sprout has been picky about which cats she allows into her exclusive kitty social circle, so she may do best as the only feline in her new home—but, our Matchmakers would still be happy to speak with interested adopters who already have another kitty!
