ASPCA staff with face masks

ASPCA staff based in New York City received a generous donation of face masks from our friends at Rafi Nova. One thousand machine-washable face masks, valued at $4,000, will benefit our ASPCA Animal Hospital and emergency boarding services teams as they continue to care for animals during the pandemic.

Boston-based Rafi Nova is a social enterprise on a mission to inspire families and connect global and local communities through their products, from masks to backpacks to comfy drawstring pants. This is the largest single donation that Rafi Nova has made to date and we are so grateful for their support of our lifesaving services.

Giving back is a core Rafi Nova value. To date, they have given away more than 15,000 masks to those in vulnerable communities and to workers on the frontline including police departments, fire departments, hospitals, and homeless shelters.
