Charlie
Charlie is a special boy looking for a special home! Charlie is blind; he is missing his left eye and has an underdeveloped right eye. But this hasn't stopped Charlie one bit! He is very outgoing, independent, energetic and curious. Charlie likes to explore new environments and is very social with new people.
Charlie acts like a kitten as he is very inquisitive, friendly and playful. He especially loves to play tag with his foster family's cat! Charlie will play with any toy you give him. He loves string toys and will bat a ball and chase it around the house as if he can see it. His ears especially perk up when he hears a crinkly toy. Charlie also loves chin scratches and being near people. He does not like being picked up though, most likely because it disorients him.
Because Charlie is blind, he will need to be a strictly indoor cat and will need an understanding adopter that can spend the time needed to orient him to his new home. Charlie startles easily so a quiet household without children is likely his best bet. However, he gets along great with other cats so he would love to be adopted into a home with another young and playful cat.
