Pikachu
Meet Pikachu! Pikachu is shy and reserved when you first meet him – notably more shy with men than women. When he gets to a new environment he'll hide for a little while, but once he comes out of his shell, you'll see his bubbly and silly personality. It just takes a bit of patience and understanding to make this guy open up. Pikachu still gets scared of sudden movements but with time, he will show you how sweet he really is!
Pikachu loves a good belly rub and is usually very cuddly in the mornings and evenings. He has a huge purr motor when he's feeling comfortable. Pikachu wakes up with a lot of energy and likes to run around the house chasing toys and playing “tag” with his foster family's cat. In the afternoon, Pikachu likes to take a good long nap.
Pikachu LOVES being around other cats and having a cat friend to play with. He became interested in his foster family’s cat the moment they met and absolutely adores him! He wants to be around him all day long and he'll even copy what his cat buddy is doing. This playful guy is fascinated by all types of cat toys and has yet to meet a feather toy that he can't shred. Pikachu loves to play with balls and wand toys, but most of all he loves playing with another cat!
Pikachu is a bit of a talker and will make different sounds depending on his mood. Sometimes he has a cute chirpy meow. He doesn't love being held but will tolerate it. He does use his scratching post and scratch pads well and doesn't mind having his nails trimmed. Pikachu loves his wet food and will run to the kitchen when he hears you opening the can. He'll rub against your leg until you give him his bowl. When Pikachu is happy, he prances and it's the cutest thing!
This little guy is a sweetie and will steal your heart once you get to know him! If you are interested in adopting Pikachu, please fill out our online adoption survey!
