Sanderson Has Been Waiting for Just the Right Match!
Good things come to those who wait, and our boy Sanderson has been incredibly patient! You may have seen Sanderson’s handsome face before. He’s graced the ASPCA website for over a year while he’s been looking for the right home. And we’re hoping that this year will be the year Sanderson will find the loving family he’s been waiting for.
We first met this seven-year-old cat in October 2017 when he was transferred to the ASPCA from a local shelter. Sanderson has spent his time at the ASPCA as an Adoption Ambassador and has been living in a foster home in New York City where he was able to comfortably adjust to domestic life. But he’s really looking for a home he can truly call his own—one where he can be the king of the castle.
Sanderson likes to play the jester sometimes, too! He loves to indulge in plenty of silly, fun playtime with his favorite toys. But sweet Sanderson is nothing if not loving. Whether he’s sleeping next to you on the couch on a lazy Sunday afternoon or receiving a good brushing from his favorite friend, Sanderson will thank you for the quality time by showering you with affection! He particularly likes to give kitty kisses—which is just as adorable as it sounds.
This loving guy is looking to join a household where he will be the only pet in the home, and needs a special adopter who can help keep him happy and healthy. Sanderson requires low maintenance, long-term treatment for previous self-harm scratching and a prescription diet to prevent urinary tract issues. Our medical team will make sure you have everything you need to know before bringing this guy home.
We know that the right adopter for Sanderson is out there—we just need help finding them! Do you think you could be the one for Sanderson? For more information call the ASPCA Adoption Center at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120.
Even if you aren’t able to adopt, please help Sanderson by sharing this post on your social channels with your family and friends. Together, we can send Sanderson home soon!
