Pumpernickel is looking for a toasty warm home and a loving adopter! This small pup is one of six dogs who was rescued from cruelty. He is looking for a quiet home with one of his dog friends. Adopt Pumpernickel today!
Big fan of: Playing! Pumpernickel has made huge progress since he was first rescued. Once shy and timid, he now loves to play, especially with his buddy Ciabatta. He also likes to chase tennis balls.
Not a fan of: Pumpernickel is easily frightened by unfamiliar people and loud noises. He does not feel comfortable around new dog friends and is not a dog-park dog.
Special features: Pumpernickel is still learning how to walk on a leash. He will need guidance and supervision to learn to only use the bathroom outside. Pumpernickel is experiencing and learning new things each day, and needs a patient, experienced adopter who will make him feel comfortable, safe and happy.
Dream home: Pumpernickel must go home with one of the dogs he was rescued with. He needs an adopter with previous shy dog experience who will help him adjust to his new life. He is looking for a quiet, “adults-only” home.
