Big fan of: Hanging out with her best friends! Marissa is very friendly and affectionate with her close human friends, and with time and patience she warms up to unfamiliar faces. Marissa has a medium energy level and is content with lounging and spending time with her favorite people.

Special features: This smart girl already knows “sit”, “down”, and “touch”! Marissa likes learning new tricks and will work hard for a tasty treat. She should meet any new dog friends in a one-on-one setting. Guidance and a routine walking schedule will help Marissa adjust to her new home and only use the bathroom outside.

Dream home: Marissa can be nervous when she is outside, and would feel more comfortable living in a home in a quiet neighborhood. She needs a patient adopter with some previous dog experience who will help her become more confident and can spend some time training her. Marissa would like to join a home with teens-and-up.
