Dutchess

 
Big fan of: You! Dutchess loves every person she meets. She likes to lounge on the couch and spend time outside. Dutchess enjoys playing with dogs her own size.

Not a fan of: Unfamiliar objects. Dutchess is sometimes nervous around people with big hats, coats or canes.

Special features: Dutchess already knows Sit and to give paw! She is learning how to lay down and would love to learn more tricks. With guidance and supervision in her new home, she’ll learn quickly to only use the bathroom outside.

Other reasons she's special: This sweet dog has a few health issues, including a brain abnormality, a low thyroid level and a tendency to drag her feet while out for a walk. She's looking for a patient adopter who'll make sure she takes her medication and wears boots to protect her skin.

Dream home: Dutchess would do best with an adopter with some dog experience in a home with kids 10-and-up.
