Tonks

Tonks is a super curious mare who has lots of opinions and isn’t shy about letting you know them! She’s been settling in at our partner shelter, Win Place Home, and finding her peace and joy. Though she’s had no interest in the racetrack, she’s amazing in her ground work and is eager to start looking for a new career. As an uninjured, retired horse, there will be no limitations to her future – and we think she’ll make a great trail horse!

Roger

Calling all draft horse lovers – you don’t want to miss Roger! Roger is a sensitive soul who has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite since his arrival at our partner shelter, MSPCA at Nevins Farms. He’s quite familiar with harnessing and, though he can be a bit of a nervous fellow, he’s a quick learner and adapts well to new situations.

Roger will need a farrier experienced with trimming and caring for draft horses as this is the area that makes him the most nervous, and he has a couple of special considerations when it comes to his hoof health (which staff will be happy to discuss with any potential adopters). At this time, Roger is seeking a more lowkey home where his new family will give him ample time to settle in and get to know him before exploring what he might want to do!
