Meet Talia! We’re not going to lie, when we first met Talia, she had it rough. Having been rescued from a home with 90 other dogs, she was very fearful—and we don’t blame her! But after being brought to the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center (BRC), Talia began to learn that new people, sounds and objects aren’t as scary as she first thought.

At the BRC, Talia learned several new skills like walking on-leash, interacting with people and going to new places. At the end of 2021, Talia graduated from our program and is officially ready to find a home all her own!

Resilient Talia has learned to love getting pets from her favorite people, going on sniffy walks and chomping down on delicious treats. But her favorite thing? Playing with any and all dogs! Having a canine friend in her new home would greatly help build up her confidence—after all, going to a new place can be scary!

Talia would love to go to a home with a kind and patient adopter who is willing to show her that the world isn’t all that scary. Talia is also one smart cookie, so an adopter willing to work on training—and give her some tasty treats in return—would be her dream come true!
