Meet Ben – otherwise known as one of our favorite feline friends at the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City! Once you meet him, he’s sure to be your favorite, too.

Ben is known around here as the king of snuggles! He loves to climb all over his people and cuddle in close – followed by lots of happy purrs. This kitty is the perfect mix of sweet, affectionate and independent. He wants to hang out with his friends and get pets, but isn’t too clingy, either. Ben also enjoys going off on his own and taking catnaps somewhere cozy. He’s such a smart, sensitive cat that when he senses someone is stressed, he’ll come right over to them, rub his head and ask for pets to help them relax.

As an older gentleman, Ben has some minor medial needs that his adopter should be aware of, but don’t worry, our team will be happy to discuss his care with you! Regardless of age, Ben is still a super active, playful guy who just wants a loving home of his own.

Ben would be a good fit for most families and has previously lived well with other cats and dogs. This clever boy is sure to show you his appreciation with lots of love and affection!
