Fern has found a loving home! But there are still plenty of adoptable dogs and cats near New York City looking for homes of their own. See all of our currently available companions!

This young lady is Fern-tastic! Fern is a social pup in New York City who quickly falls in love with everyone she meets, and she hopes to meet you next!

Fern adores being with her friends as well as making new friends, and she is always happy to cozy up to her people for cuddles! Taking her on a walk is a great way to get to know her. She enjoys going at a leisurely pace around the neighborhood – that way, she can sniff everything to her heart’s content! Whether she’s getting some exercise with you or just some snuggles on the couch, Fern is happy to spend time with her best friend! You’ll be sure to catch her enthusiasm for all the good things in life.

In her future home, Fern hopes to not only stay physically active, but to keep her mind active too! She is a smart cookie, and she will benefit from a regular training routine to stay sharp with what she knows, and to also learn new things. She really loves tasty treats, so that is a great motivator for her training. Since she’ll always work hard to earn her favorite treats, training with Fern is a lot of fun!

Fern would likely do best living in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood where she can enjoy her walks away from a busy city environment. She may also fit well with most families since she loves people so much! Fern is certain to thrive wherever she can get the social attention and exercise that she craves.

If you would like Fern to plant her roots and grow in your home in the tri-state area, visit her profile to submit an application and learn more about her!
