The ASPCA Once Again Participates in the Annual Subaru Share the Love® Event!
Exciting news for animal lovers nationwide! For the twelfth year in a row, the ASPCA has been selected as a national charity partner to participate in the Subaru Share the Love® Event, which kicks off November 14, 2019, and runs through January 2, 2020.
When you purchase or lease a Subaru this holiday season, you have the chance to “share the love” with the ASPCA! Throughout the campaign, for every new Subaru vehicle that is purchased or leased, Subaru will donate $250 to the purchaser/lessee’s choice among four national charity partners or a local “Hometown Charity” supported by individual retailers.* Funds donated to the ASPCA will continue to help support our efforts to rescue, care for and protect countless animals in need nationwide.
As part of our participation in the Subaru Share the Love Event, the ASPCA is providing a total of $519,600 to 109 animal welfare organizations in 34 states and Washington, D.C., to support a variety of pet events in partnership with local Subaru retail partners. These events help provide critical services for animals in need, including microchipping, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries and more.
In 2018 alone, the ASPCA & Subaru grant program impacted a total of 6,758 animals. We hope to achieve as much success again this year and help even more animals in need!
Since 2008, Subaru has donated over $22.4 million to the ASPCA through the Subaru Share the Love Event to help make a difference for animals. A huge thank you to all Subaru customers and our committed supporters who chose the ASPCA when they purchased or leased a new Subaru vehicle. Thanks to that support, we are able to give second chances to the animals who need them most.
*Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased from November 14, 2019, through January 2, 2020, to four national charities designated by the purchaser or lessee. Pre-approved Hometown Charities may be selected for donation depending on retailer participation. For every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased during the campaign period, participating retailers will donate a minimum of $50 in total to their registered Hometown Charities. Purchasers/lessees must make their charity designations by January 15, 2020. The four national charities will receive a guaranteed minimum donation of $250,000 each.
