Pumpkin is a handsome gentleman with a heart as warm as his name!

Pumpkin is a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets! Whether you’re a longtime friend or a brand-new acquaintance, he’ll greet you with a wagging tail and a happy smile. With the perfect balance between energy and relaxing, Pumpkin enjoys running around the yard, playing with toys and soaking up all the pets before curling up for a well-earned nap.

Pumpkin has been in our doggy playgroups, and while we always recommend a meet-and-greet, he’s shown great social skills with other dogs. Pumpkin is a foodie at heart and will do just about anything for a tasty treat — his favorite is bully sticks! Food motivation always makes training fun for everyone. Pumpkin is also a polite leash-walker who checks in with you often, especially if you have snacks in hand.

Adopters should know that Pumpkin has a history of low-grade mast cell tumors, which were successfully removed while in our care. While this condition doesn’t typically affect lifespan, he may develop additional masses in the future that should be monitored and removed by your vet as needed. But don’t worry — Pumpkin doesn’t let anything slow him down!
