Lena

Meet Lena, or should we say “Lean-a,” because she loves to lean right into your side! When she rests her head in your lap while gazing into your eyes, she is guaranteed to melt your heart instantly. Lena originally came to us from a suspected neglect case, and she is now a playful, affectionate pup who is ready for a home of her own!

Lena is a gorgeous pup with a beautiful blonde coat and striking blue eyes. She has a medium energy level, making her the perfect dog for everything from cozy evenings at home to adventurous outings. She offers sweet, gentle companionship, but she also gets bursts of energy and loves to run, get the zoomies and even play parkour! She is truly the best mix of affectionate and playful energy. Lena also responds well to being called and is highly motivated by treats.

Lena walks well on a leash and loves to explore new places. When she goes on a trip to the park, she hops right into the car, though she takes a little time to settle in for the ride. At the park, she does well with all the people and distractions, and she has fun sniffing everything along the way. After going on an adventure, she’ll be ready for her favorite activity – cuddling!

No matter what the day holds, Lena just loves being around her friends! While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, a few treats and some patience will make her comfortable in no time. Once she settles in, all she will want is cuddles and attention! While in our care, Lena has also been an excellent playmate with other dogs, and she enjoys rough-and-rowdy play with dogs her own size. She has even been a great mentor to puppies, teaching them how to play appropriately. Lena has met a variety of different dogs and enjoys matching their energy!
