This little guy is the life of the party! Jazzberry is an adorable eight-month-old Lhasa Apso-mix who is eagerly searching for his perfect home. It’s hard to resist falling in love with this little furball! Whether he’s playing fetch, chasing toys or frolicking at the park, he is an absolute bundle of joy.

Jazzberry was rescued from a puppy mill and the whole world is brand new to him. Though he is exceedingly cute and everyone wants to meet him, he can be a bit shy with new people. It takes a little time for this sweet pup to build trust, but once he feels comfortable, he will make himself right at home. He is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will give him the time and space to acclimate to his new life.

Since Jazzberry has been in a foster home, he has gotten pretty used to being a typical dog—he loves hanging out on the couch, going on short hikes, getting into typical puppy antics and sleeping in bed with his foster caregivers! Jazzberry loves the company of other dogs, and he quickly became best friends with his canine foster sibling.

Having a confident canine friend around can help Jazzberry gain confidence, so we highly recommend that he lives with another dog. He has learned the doggy ropes from his canine foster brother, so having another dog in the home will help Jazz transition smoothly into his new life. He is still working on getting comfortable with leashing, but once leashed he walks like a dream. He is also making progress on his housetraining and still learning that pets from new people aren't so scary—especially if they have tasty treats to give him!

All of our animals are fully vetted, so Jazzberry is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. If you are interested in adopting this lovely guy, please fill out his adoption application! Meet-and-greets and are by appointment only and are scheduled after receiving an application.
