Meet Hugo, the aquatic dog!

Hugo is an adorable, social boy who loves to seek out attention and ask for pets from his friends. He enjoys meeting new people, too! He’s an energetic young boy who still has puppy energy, so he loves to stay active with playtime and exercise. Hugo will be eager to play with you right away! 

Hugo is a star player in our doggy playgroups, where he gets to run around with other dogs of different ages and sizes. He gets along great with canine pals who enjoy playing chase and roughhousing together. He even stops to take breaks on his own before re-engaging with the others. He loves the water too, and he’ll happily lie down in a pool to cool off. It’s always a joy to see him get along with his buddies!

In his ideal home, Hugo would thrive with a family who can make sure he gets all the physical and mental stimulation a growing pup needs. He has been occasionally fearful of the outside world, so he needs a patient and understanding adopter to help him build his confidence. He also loves treats, which helps motivate him and makes training fun! Hugo would do great with another dog in the home for him to play with, but he would be happy as the only dog if his people are ready to give him lots of love and attention.
