Dodger

Dodger is a special pup who came to us from a suspected neglect case, and he’s ready to start a new chapter with a loving family! He is a sweet, medium-energy dog who enjoys relaxing at home as well as going on adventures. This handsome guy has a gorgeous, shiny black coat and a fun-loving, enthusiastic personality. Doger is a playful guy who bounds and prances around the yard with joy, always up for fun!

When out on walks, Dodger is a perfect gentleman! He has walked past a variety of people, other dogs and strollers happily, often wagging his tail in greeting. He enjoys exploring and sniffing things along the way, taking in all the sights and smells around him. Dodger also sits politely for treats, and he shows off his affectionate side by leaning into pets lovingly.

Dodger has been a regular attendee of our playgroups and is great with other dogs. He loves to play chase, and he is known to enjoy some ruff-and-rowdy play too. He’s the type of dog who adjusts his playstyle to match the energy of his friends, making him an excellent addition to a home with other dogs.

Dodger is looking for a family who will help him gain more confidence while out in the world. He can be sensitive to loud, sudden noises, but he recovers quickly. Patience and understanding help him feel more secure and show him that the world isn’t so scary! Dodger may benefit from having a confident dog sibling in the home to look up to, but he’d also do well as the only dog with love and support from his adopters.
