Cyprus is a beefcake of a dog who everyone instantly falls in love with! He was originally found by the NYPD in New York with multiple wounds. He has since recovered in our care, and he now loves to show off his playful personality. Cyprus is on the lookout for a home where he will be surrounded by love, patience and plenty of treats!

At the risk of sounding like a dating profile, Cyprus loves long, sniffy walks and will do anything for a good scratch! He is a truly social pup who actively seeks attention from people and isn’t shy about leaning in for pets. He also enjoys outdoor adventures, especially if they involve new places to explore. Cyprus will be extra appreciative if he gets a steady supply of toys in his new home, because he loves carrying them around with pride! When it’s time to settle down for some quality relaxation time, he is quite happy with a good chew toy or bone.

Cyprus is looking for an adopter who can continue helping him learn how to be the best version of himself! He has a wiggly, happy-go-lucky attitude, but he gets a little too excited at times and may jump up to say hello. He is working on keeping all four paws on the ground, and he responds well to treats and toys as positive reinforcement. He has also done well in our playgroups with other dogs!
