This young pup may be small in size, but her personality is larger than life! Barbados is a spunky, active girl who loves getting outside, exploring and burning off energy. She was found abandoned with an injury in New York, but nothing slows her down! Despite her rough start, she is all about living life to the fullest.

Barbados is a total ham who is silly, playful and always up for fun! She is so well known for how quickly she bonds with people that she has earned the title of Instant Bestie. She is a responsible toy collector and keeps track of her treasures with impressive care — a very tidy queen! One of her most adorable quirks is her signature belly flop. Whether it’s on a bed, the floor or even mid-play, Barbados flops down dramatically as if she’s making a grand statement. She also has the cutest little bark that’s sure to make you laugh!

Barbados enjoys romping around with other dogs in our doggy playgroups, though her play style can be a little rough-and-rowdy. If there are any potential dog siblings in the home, a meet-and-greet is recommended. She is also looking for an adopter who can continue working with her on her leash manners. Barbados sometimes gets very excited to see new human and dog friends on walks, but she has been responding well to training sessions!
