Meet Asena! This playful lady is ready to find a family who will enjoy her silly personality! She was originally found as a stray and brought to a county shelter, where she was too fearful for adoption. She has spent some time with us and has blossomed into a confident companion! Asena has learned that life is quite fun and can’t wait to have a home of her own.

Asena is a big fan of having fun! Whether she is with people or other dogs, she is always the life of the party. From her goofy personality to her love of romping around, she’s sure to bring a smile to your face every day! She really enjoys playing chase with dogs, though she much prefers to be with dogs her own size than smaller dogs. Asena thinks that human friends are pretty cool, too! Her favorite activities with them are playing with toys, taking walks or just hanging out together.

Asena is working on being comfortable in the car. She doesn’t love car rides, but she does love it when the car takes her to fun places! Getting into the car for a ride can be intimidating for this big girl, so we’ve been working with her on her car skills. Her adopters can help her get more comfortable in their car by continuing this paws-on experience. Tasty treats or another dog friend in the car are great ways to help her better enjoy going for a ride!

Asena would love to find a home that appreciates her fun, energetic personality and can keep her young mind busy! This sweet girl’s perfect family would enjoy staying active with walks and playtime. She can be a bit nervous in unfamiliar places, so she hopes her family can help boost her confidence, too.
