Marzipan

Meet Marzipan aka Marzi! Marzi is a sensitive sweetheart looking for a patient adopter to provide her a quiet home where she can relax and blossom.

Marzi enjoys the simple things in life - curling up in cozy spaces for cat naps, staring out the window to watch the world go by and lounging close by her foster family. She’s not too interested in toys or catnip but loves food and treats and enjoys playing a game where her foster tosses pieces of kibble around the room and Marzi runs to "catch" and eat them. She has recently started exploring her foster family's home more. Quick or sudden movements spook this shy gal, especially when she's out exploring, but with a few pets, reassuring words and a treat (or three!) she will calm down and come back out of her shell.

Marzi prefers to lounge around most of the time but will solicit attention and pets once she is comfortable. Sometimes she needs a good head rub and chin scratches to get going in the morning or after a nap. She will roll around all over the floor getting pet until you tire out!

Marzipan is an amazing, loving and sweet cat - and a bit of a talker. She's slow to warm up and trust, but when she does, watch out because she'll be the best companion you've ever had!

Marzi is very aware of changes in her environment and will need time to adjust to a new home. A slow and patient approach will help her feel more comfortable and confident. And her slow eye blinks will let you know you're on the right track to winning her over! Marzi would do best in a home without other animals or children.
