Margo

Margo is sweet as candy and cute as a button! She was originally found as a stray and made her way to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center, where we helped her gain much needed confidence as a future canine companion. Margo is now ready to make up for lost time and enjoy everything that the home life has to offer!

Big fan of: Spending time with her human friends! Margo is a social gal and really enjoys being around her favorite humans. She has been quick to warm up to new people and thrives on attention and comforting scritches. Whenever you’re getting some work done at home, she likes to curl up right by your side. Once you’re ready to shift your focus to her, she’ll happily roll over into your lap! Margo also gets the occasional zoomies to burn off some steam, but just as quickly as she started, she winds down and cozies up next to you again.

Working on: Her confidence around other dogs. Margo seems to prefer the company of people more than other canines. She is tolerant of dogs who match her low-key energy, but she seems to enjoy socializing and playing with her human friends more than anyone else. When out in the world, Margo generally chooses to keep some distance from other pups.

Dream home: Margo would love to find a home with a comfy couch and a loving family who will show her the affection she’s always wanted! Her adopter should be patient with her as she transitions into their home, but we anticipate she will quickly blossom into a happy, social companion! She doesn’t ask for much, so if you’re able to give her some scratches and tasty treats, your home might just be the one she’s dreaming of!
