Meet Levi! Levi is a fun-loving young dog who arrived at the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center after he was rescued during a natural disaster. He worked hard to build his resilience and is now ready to be a loyal companion! Levi continues to build his confidence each and every day and is looking to find a home to call his own! He hopes to find a dedicated adopter who is willing to give him the love and patience he so deserves. Levi will surely repay you in cuddles and happy tail wags!

Big fan of: Playtime and toys! Levi loves to play with toys with both dogs and humans alike. He has even perfected the multi-way tug of war with his favorite dog friends! We affectionately call him our playful love bug. He hopes his new family will enjoy tossing his favorite toys for him and then let him curl up next to them for a well-earned nap. He would likely make a great companion for a family with a lower-energy lifestyle. Levi also loves tasty snacks and treats, which come in handy as he continues learning some basic training and skills!

Working on: His confidence in new places. Levi can be a bit fearful when on a walk in new or noisy spaces, but he warms up when they become more familiar to him. He is highly motivated when he has a confident dog buddy who can show him the ropes, but he also responds well to happy talk and pets from his people when he is feeling more nervous. With time, patience and some treats, Levi will soon acclimate to his new surroundings!

Dream home: Levi’s dream home is one that has access to a fenced-in area. As he learns to navigate his new home, access to some canine friends to play and share his toys with would also be great! He’s looking for an adopter who understands that going into a new home can be scary at first. With some positive reinforcement and patience as he adjusts to his new surroundings, he is sure to blossom into his loving, playful self!
