Hira

Meet Hira the lovebug! This girl loves attention, scratches, massages and belly rubs. She will frolic with other dogs and play on her own with squeaky toys. Hira is looking for an adopter who will welcome her into their home. Hira is a playgroup rockstar and her pointy ears perk up when she sees her favorite people—could that be you? 

Big fan of: Adventure time! Hira loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She is curious about new places and smells. She loves exploring the world with her nose. 

Working on: Excitability on walks. Hira can get so excited to go for walks that she pulls on leash. But, don’t worry! We’ve been working on this with her and she has been walking well at the BRC wearing a front clip walking harness. 

Dream Home: Hira would love if her new home had another dog-friend for her to play with. She loves to play with other dog's her size and can be quite a youthful and exuberant player. Hira's other dream is to have a toy box subscription because new squeaky toys are pretty much the best thing ever. She will be a great companion for creating unboxing videos as she excitedly pulls out each fuzzy toy! 

While Hira has shown her inner goofball to the staff at the BRC, she may take some time to open up in a new home. But her love is worth the wait. When she falls over upside-down into your lap, you'll know you're in. Hira was recently transferred to the Humane Society of Charlotte, but don’t worry!
