Meet Colorado! Colorado was rescued from a puppy mill and is now ready to find a home to call her own! She’s looking for an adopter who will enjoy her love of walking and free spirit! Her wire-haired happy face is sure to bring you joy each and every day. Colorado enjoys other dogs and would love the chance to have canine siblings of her own.

Big fan of: Cheese! Colorado loves to snuffle her way through a snuffle mat to discover delicious snacks with her nose. She’s a silly, quirky ray of sunshine who loves to romp with her canine buddies whenever she can! Colorado is learning cues like “let’s go,” and “come here,” and will load and rest in her crate. She is also learning how to ride calmly in the car. 

Working on: Building relationships with new people. Colorado allows gentle petting on her chest from new people, just go slow at first to help give her the choice to walk away and take breaks when needed. Giving her a treat or two after each time you pet her will help her grow in comfort and confidence. She is getting more comfortable and enjoying petting more every day.
