Bailee
Meet Bailee! Bailee was found living in an open field and was fearful of people and new places. Since coming to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center, she has blossomed into a fun and sweet dog, has made several friends, human and canine alike, and is now ready to find a loving home of her own!
Big fan of: Other gentle dogs! Bailee likes to play, but not in a rough and rowdy way, so she prefers calm, polite players. She enjoys socializing with dogs of all sizes as long as they don’t run into her, and she shares her toys and food nicely. She also spent a few weeks in a foster home with a cat and was very respectful of him!
Working on: Her confidence. Bailee can be fearful at first, especially with new people and places, so she may be anxious going to a new home. She would love to find a family who is dedicated to making her feel safe, happy and loved, especially during the first few weeks! When she was in a foster home, she adjusted to her new routine and people very well. She’ll thrive with a patient adopter who doesn’t mind taking it slow.
Dream home: One with a family that understands going to a new home can be scary, and that Bailee may need some time to open up—but she’s worth the wait! She’s looking for a dedicated adopter willing to put in the time and effort to continue working on her training and keep up with her energetic side. But don’t fret, Bailee also has a couch potato side, and she enjoys snuggling with her people while watching TV.
