You can help give animals protection and care.
My first rescue dogs were Ollie and Maggie, and I’ve had them for about five years. I adopted them, and after becoming so connected with them, I started to be more aware of how many dogs are just waiting for someone to give them good, loving homes. You get so much in return when you adopt a pet, and I’m going to preach for adoption for the rest of my life. Every second chance for these animals starts with someone like you, or me. |

Every day, we see animals transform from shut down and hopeless to loving, affectionate pets. Seeing an incredible transformation and an animal find the perfect home after their rescue is one of the best feelings in the world. After all, who doesn't love a glow up?
We want to see your rescue pet's transformation! We're encouraging pet parents everywhere to join us on social media to share your adopted pet's #RescueGlowUp! Between now and December 31, post a Before and After of your pet, marking the time they were adopted (or rescued) and where they are now with the hashtag #RescueGlowUp. Be sure to follow us and tag us @aspca so that we can re-share your heartwarming photos.
