As for the exact composition of fish feces, it’s likely dependent on a number of factors, including environment and diet. Fish feces probably contain some level of nitrogen and phosphorus, so please remember that fish tanks containing an excess of accumulated waste are considered unhealthy. As the waste decays, oxygen levels can be reduced and other potentially unhealthy gases can be released.
