June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month—how will you celebrate? We’ve got a few ideas!

1. We’re kicking off the special month of June with our How Cute Is Your Cat? photo contest. Enter your cat’s most adorable snapshot and find out if your pet is cuter than all the rest!

To enter, simply snap a great pic of your adopted kitty and submit! The top three winners—selected by you—will receive a $300 ASPCA Prize Pack—including beautiful cat-themed jewelry from REEDS—and be featured on our website. Entries will be accepted now through June 24, 2012—and voting begins June 25!

The winner will be announced on July 2. Show us what you’ve got!

2. Fresh Step litter is hosting The Great Cat Debate on Facebook in June. In addition to a simple vote, the debate will feature a panel of comedians hashing out the pros and cons of having cats. Get involved, and raise awareness of why cats are so great!

3. But of course, the best way to celebrate Adopt a Shelter Cat Month is—you guessed it—adopting a shelter cat! (And if you’ve got room in your heart and home for a feline friend who needs a little extra care, check out some of the special needs kitties available right now at the ASPCA.)
