The justice system should be called "justice" for a reason, and treat people the way they have treated other beings. in other words, they should put all puppy mill operators in one tiny jail cell together, let them get worms and parvo and skin diseases and only let them out when someone feels like adopting them.

I have four dogs and I love and care for them deeply. If anything happened to any of them I would be devistated. You would have to be a very sick person to want to hurt inosent creatures. This man is getting what he deserves, but I think he needs more torture.

think the laws on animal cruelty should be more harsh and should be punished with time in jail an animal is defenseless just as a child can not speak for it self say what hurts him if hes hungry scared cold. a $1,000 dollar fine is no punishment they pay that with the same money they made from hurting this poor little ones to them its nothing. that does not replace the life of a living creature witch loves care has feelings and a soul. and until laws don't become more sever this will keep happening.

Serve him right! Personally, I think that he should be banned from owning any animal rather than just breeding dogs. They were way too easy on him but at least he was brought to justice, as many aren't. Great job, ASPCA! Thank you!

I think that what has been done to these poor innocent animals should be done to this man. Maybe that would keep people from doing such horrific things.

Those poor animals, it breaks your heart knowing the pain they are going through. That man needs more punishment, because animal cruelty is not a little crime. A number of days for paying a fine is not enough.

Are you kidding me. The fine should have been 1000 per dog and 1 year per dog in jail. He took years from them. Lets get serious people animals are victims just like humans lets make punishment equal for taking their lives from them.

A thousand dollar fine is not enough. How could he do this and not get jail time. He needs to be locked up and deprived of food/water. That is the only way these people will ever understand.

I'm sure this guy made significantly more than $1000 via his puppy mill shenanigans. This is a slap on the wrist, if anything. The punishment is a joke and I live for a day where serious jail time is involved in these cases. I wouldn't exactly call this "victorious", more like the ending to a long loss.

I like the tiny cage idea- we definitely need harsher punishments for people like this.
